Girl you better gimme that Munny.*

Alright, here it is. The unveiling of my Munny sketch.

But first, a lengthy intro: There are a few things that I love to draw, and you can see this through much of my work... I love to draw hair. I love to drawl leaves. I love to draw little tiny things that are more pattern and texture than anything. It is painful, painstaking and boring, I will admit. It makes my hand ache and my eyes hurt, but it's worth it. Because it is tiny, dirty and complex.

I also love animals. No kidding. We've got 2 dogs, 3 cats, some fish and a chinchilla, and we live in the city.

Here's another fact. I don't paint. I used to, but I didn't really like to. I am more of a drawing and printmaking kind of guy. So for my Munny, I am going to draw it all. In pencil. In graphite. In China crayon. Whatever I can find that works best. I've got some experimentation to do, but that's the plan.

Alright, I am boring myself now. Here it is.

By the way, this was painful to draw. My hand hurts. My eyeballs hurt. My neck hurts. I am excited, not only to draw the actual, 3-D Munny, but even more so what comes next. The Illustration. I am going to get this bad boy shot all nice-like, in a studio. Then I am going to render an environment for it, and insert it digitally, in the same fashion I worked on the Labrador Project. And that is where it is going to be a blast and a half.

I can't wait.

That looks pretty rad.

You know what might work, so you can draw with charcoal or possibly even graphite is to put down a thin coat of acrylic medium for pastels or whatever it is called (I have some if you want to try it out), and that might give you a rad surface for drawing on. the clear coat the crap out of it when its all finished.

I'm curious to see the final as well. I still need to check out the others and see how far their's are coming along.

Good Luck!
