Damn Dirty Munny.

Munny time....

Here is a practice eye, drawn on one of the useless accessories that come with the Munny (in this case, a pair of glasses). The drawing worked fine, but I tired to glaze over it with a brown tinted Matte Medium. Good thing it was practice, because the Matte Medium immediately smeared the drawing.

So now the plan is; tint it first, draw on it second, seal it with a spray, then maybe add some more tint, then maybe varnish it or something to seal the deal. Now that's an airtight plan with no room for mistakes...

So here is my lightly stained Munny:

I wanted to stain the Munny from Blazingly White to a light, dirty, natural brown. So I took some burnt umber, yellow ochre, unbleached white and a touch of magenta with a butt-load of Matte Medium and painted the Munny with a light glaze, just for a bit of texture and a more natural look. It will mostly disappear under the drawing, but in the end, it will give it a different feel entirely. I might add a second coat, but I want to to be subtle. An off white, not a brown.

Now that I have committed to a process, the Munny should only take me a day or two. If I just sit down and do it. Which I will...

Cross my heart, hope to die.....
